All about Ink & Ember…
Ink & Ember is a quarterly, independent, interactive literary magazine. Created by published poet and content creator Cecilia Parker (@thejournalingrat amongst other monikers), this magazine seeks to uplift and provide a space both for marginalized authors, poets, and artists, but also for its readers. Unlike most literary magazines, this magazine is interactive and seeks the engagement of its audience.
This magazine includes in every addition:

~Guided meditations
~Potential calls to action, requests for mutual aid, or other important and relevant resources
~Poetry, Short Prose, and Art from adults in marginalized communities

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS & PURCHASES…
WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY however, we are not accepting works that we deem too violent, gory, or graphic.
No smut or overtly erotic content that seeks to be sexually gratifying.
Submitters MUST be 18 years or older.
SUBMISSIONS ARE FREE. As a result, we are currently unable to compensate you for your work.
You may submit up to 5 works at a time of any medium, but you may only submit ONCE per quarter.
We do not request rights to work, but the use and placement of the work within the magazine is at our discretion. If your submissions are accepted in another publication before being accepted into ours, you must retract your submission with us IMMEDIATELY.
Submissions must include in the SUBJECT the author/artist’s desired name & that it is a submission for Ink & Ember.
Submissions must include a short bio, desired name, and pronouns.
Submissions must be sent as PDF files for writing and JPG/IMGs for art.
Layout & Placement of various pieces is at the discretion of Ink & Ember.
If purchasing online, make sure to enter your correct shipping information. WE ARE UNABLE TO TRACK OR REFUND LOST MAIL.
